Where did Daniel, Ezekiel, and John write their biblical books?
Daniel wrote from Babylon and Mede-Persia, Ezekiel wrote from Shushan, the capital of the Medes and Persians, and John wrote from the island of Patmos off Turkey's western coast. All three books were written by Jews outside the land of Palestine.
Les teaches that three books in our Bible were written by Jews from outside the land of Palestine: Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation. Daniel writes from Babylon and Mede-Persia; Ezekiel writes from Shushan, the capital of the Medes and Persians; and John writes from the island of Patmos off the western coast of Turkey. He notes they all write more or less in symbolic language, and Ezekiel and Revelation have a perfect correlation.
