How did the Hebrew language come back to life in Israel?
The Hebrew language was revived when early Zionists, anticipating a Jewish homeland in Palestine, required people to learn and speak Hebrew again. It had been dead for hundreds of years, but today Hebrew appears on Israeli billboards and highway signs alongside English.
Les teaches that the Hebrew language was dead; even the Jews did not speak Hebrew for hundreds and hundreds of years. When some of the Zionists first anticipated going back to what we call the land of Palestine and making it a Jewish homeland, they demanded that people again learn and speak Hebrew. As a result, if you go to Israel today, all the billboards and highway signs are Hebrew and English. This is another miracle, alongside the Jews maintaining their identity and returning to their land, proving the Bible is supernatural.
