How is a person saved? Is salvation by works, Law, repentance and baptism, or something else?

A person is saved by believing the Gospel, not by works, Law, repentance, or baptism. The Gospel is that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. This message was received from the ascended, glorified Lord and delivered by the apostle of the Gentiles.

Les teaches that salvation is not in the Law, not in works, and not in repentance and baptism. Rather, it is in believing the Gospel. He explains that this Gospel was delivered by the apostle of the Gentiles as that which he received from the ascended, glorified Lord after His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. The Gospel's content is that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Les emphasizes that it is simple enough to be taken by faith, even though its power is so complex that no human being can fully understand it.
