Why is Satan worship increasing?
Satan worship is increasing because the world is being prepared to worship the beast, the coming world leader who receives his power from Satan. This includes the rise of Oriental religions tied to the occult, all getting ready for the Antichrist's takeover and the worship of the Satanic power behind him.
Les explains that in Revelation, the dragon (Satan) gives power to the beast, and the world worships the dragon because of this. He sees the current increase in Satan worship and Oriental religions tied to the occult as a sign that the world is getting ready for the Antichrist to come on the scene. The Antichrist will take over the 10-nation power (which Les believes is the European community) and become the great world leader. The world will be ready to fall at his feet and worship him as well as the Satanic power behind him, just as verse 4 says they worshiped the dragon who gave power to the beast.
