How ready will the world be when the Antichrist takes over?
The world will be fully prepared to embrace the Antichrist when he takes over. The whole world—not just Europe or the Mediterranean—will wonder after the beast and be ready to fall at his feet, worshiping him and the Satanic power behind him, as Satan worship and occult-tied religions increase.

He takes over ten nations, which Les is convinced will be the European community, and from that ten-nation power he rises to become the great world leader. In verse 3, the wounded head is not necessarily the Antichrist personally; Les thinks the wounding to death is the ancient Roman Empire, which everyone historically feels is dead and off the scene, yet it comes back as if nothing happened. Its deadly wound is healed. Then all the world—not just Europe, not just the Mediterranean—wonders after the beast. Verse 4 says they worshiped the dragon who gave power unto the beast. Les connects this to the increase in Satan worship and Oriental religions tied to the occult, all getting ready for when this gentleman comes on the scene and takes over, so the world is just going to be ready to fall at his feet and worship him as well as the Satanic power behind him.
