Why is there a seven-year tribulation?
The seven-year tribulation is the whole reason Satan gets his final time. It occurs as Christ, the Lamb, takes the scroll and prepares to pay off the curse that has been on the world since Genesis 3, redeeming people from every nation to reign on earth.
Les explains that Christ, as the Lamb, comes before the Ancient of Days and takes the mortgage from God the Father, saying He will pay it off—the curse that has been on the world since Genesis chapter 3. This is the whole reason for the seven years of the tribulation: Satan is going to have his final time. Christ alone is worthy to take the scroll and open its seals because of His death, burial, and resurrection. He has redeemed people out of every kindred, tongue, people, and nation, making them kings and priests who will reign on the earth.
