Why is Revelation used for understanding the kingdoms during the tribulation?
Revelation is used because it functions as the road map of the tribulation for the most part. When the subject turns to the kingdoms that will be on earth during the tribulation, Scripture’s last book provides the prophetic framework, including the ten horns and the beast from Revelation chapter 13.
Les explains that since the discussion is now dealing with the kingdoms that will be on the earth at the time of the tribulation, we have to go back to Revelation again. He says we pick this up in the last book of our Bible because the book of Revelation is the road map of the tribulation for the most part. He then turns to Revelation chapter 13 to look at the ten horns, which in Scripture refer to kings, and the beast; these ten horns will be the base of operation for the world ruler called the Antichrist.
