Were all the Gentile empires connected to Israel?

Yes. As each Gentile empire came on the scene, Israel was connected to it; every one of these empires included the land of Palestine and the city of Jerusalem. However, the iron-and-clay European community as yet did not have that kind of relationship with Israel.

Les teaches that as these empires came on the scene, they were all Gentile, but in every one of them Israel was connected. Every one included the land of Palestine and the city of Jerusalem. The iron and clay, the ten toes of the European community, as yet do not have that kind of relationship with Israel; mostly America is keeping the little nation going. Never lose sight of the fact that the Antichrist will come out of the geographical area of the old Roman Empire. Les personally thinks he will come from Western Europe, though others think the Middle East or Mediterranean; either way, he will come from somewhere out of that old Roman Empire, coming in peaceably and with flatteries. Les also points to Europe's turmoil, ethnic problems, immigrant problems, political problems, and economic problems, and suggests a man could arise there with charisma.
