What were the parts of the image Nebuchadnezzar saw in Daniel chapter 2?

Daniel chapter 2 presents an image with a head of gold, breast of silver, belly of brass, legs of iron, and final feet made of iron and clay. These parts pictured great political empires in symbolic language as Nebuchadnezzar saw them in the vision.

Les explains that Daniel chapter 2's image was given in symbolic language to show the great political empires. The head was gold, the breast silver, the belly brass, the legs iron, and the final feet were iron and clay. He notes that politically each empire became weaker than the one before, weakened by the number of people involved in decision-making. By contrast, when Christ sets up His kingdom, it will be a kingdom of one with absolute power, no confabs, and no consensus.
