What were the parts of the image in Nebuchadnezzar's vision in Daniel 2?
In Daniel 2, Nebuchadnezzar’s vision showed a great image composed of a head of gold, breast of silver, belly of brass, legs of iron, and feet made of iron mixed with clay. These parts represented successive political empires, each inferior to the one before.
Les teaches that in Daniel chapter 2 Nebuchadnezzar saw, in symbolic language, great political empires: the head of gold, the breast of silver, the belly of brass, the legs of iron, and then the final feet of the image made of iron and clay. He explains that each successive empire became weakened by the number of people involved in decision-making and was politically inferior to the one before. By contrast, when Christ sets up His kingdom again, it will be a kingdom of one, with absolute power, no confabs, and no consensus.
