Who will cause everyone to receive the mark of the beast?

Les explains that the false religious leader will cause all people—small and great, rich and poor, free and bond—to receive a mark in their right hand or in their forehead. No one will be able to buy or sell except those who have the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Les has taught since computers came on the scene in the early seventies that this mark is an 18-digit computer number, possibly placed on the hand or forehead and made visible only by ultraviolet light, so that all transactions can be electronically computed. This mark will not appear until the Antichrist comes and the tribulation begins. Believers will not be present then, so Christians do not have to worry about being forced to take the mark of the beast.
