Did God forget the Gentiles while He focused on Israel from Abraham to the New Testament?

No. Though God focused primarily on Israel from Abraham into the New Testament, with exceptions, He never lost sight of the Gentiles. He had a whole program laid out whereby Israel could have evangelized the Gentiles and brought them to a knowledge of Jehovah, becoming a nation and kingdom of priests.

Les explains that God's primary focus from Abraham into the New Testament was on the Jew, with exceptions, but He had not lost sight of the Gentile river of humanity. The quoted verse says God would also give His servant as a light to the Gentiles and salvation to the end of the earth. Les teaches that God had the whole program laid out so Israel could have evangelized the Gentiles and brought them to a knowledge of Jehovah, becoming a nation and kingdom of priests. Hypothetically it could have happened that way, but they didn't. In Isaiah 59, Les points out the Redeemer comes to Zion, Jerusalem, and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression, requiring Israel's spiritual climate to be 100 percent believers, not 90 percent.
