Did God forget about the Gentiles while He dealt with Israel?

No. Even while God dealt primarily with Israel from Abraham until the book of Acts, He did not forget the Gentiles. He could not deal with them until Christ went to the cross, yet Scripture shows His intention to include them and that in Him the Gentiles will trust.

Les teaches that although God was dealing primarily with the nation of Israel from Abraham until the book of Acts, God did not forget the Gentiles. He could not deal with them until Christ went to the cross, but He had not forgotten them. Les then points to the Old Testament promise of the root of Jesse—Jesse was David's father, and Christ is considered the son of David—who would rise to reign over the Gentiles, and in Him the Gentiles would trust. Les notes this had not yet happened, but it will.
