What role will the ten horns play in relation to the Antichrist?
The ten horns represent kings who serve as the base of operation for the Antichrist. They connect to the revived Roman empire—the European community—and appear in Revelation 13 as the supporting structure for the world ruler called the Antichrist during the tribulation.
Les explains that in Scripture horns refer to kings, so the ten horns are kings. In the vision, the semicolon after the Roman empire’s description jumps about 1,700 years, bringing the sequence from Rome’s end between 300 and 400 A.D. to the appearance of the European community as the revived Roman empire. Revelation 13 then presents the ten horns as the base of operation for the world ruler called the Antichrist, the beast connected with the mass of humanity and the tribulation period.
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
