Les Feldick Bible Study

When are "the days of these kings" in verse 44 according to Les?

The days of these kings occur when the ten nations of Western Europe, headed up by the Antichrist, have completed their seven-year course. At that point, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, the same earthly kingdom Scripture has described from the beginning.

Les explains that the days of these kings refer to the period when the ten nations of Western Europe, currently headed up by the Antichrist, have run their course of seven years. He notes that while men operate under free will and do not realize God's involvement, God is sovereignly directing all things. At the end of that seven-year period, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed—the same kingdom discussed from day one, an earthly kingdom. Les also points out that Revelation puts a time element on this kingdom: a thousand years, which we call the millennium. He mentions that even the world uses the term millennium for the next thousand years, but Scripture's millennium is that thousand-year rule and reign. Eventually, this period will end through the providential acts of a sovereign God, leading to great turmoil, and then the new earth and new heaven will come, with the same circumstances as the thousand years.
