What did Daniel tell Nebuchadnezzar about God in Daniel 2:28?

Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar that there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets and makes known to the king what shall be in the latter days. He also declared that God had revealed prophetic events to the king, showing that the true God unveils future things.

Les explains that Daniel, standing before the pagan king in all his splendor and pomp, declares that there is a God in heaven—unlike the pagan deities—who reveals secrets and makes known what shall be in the latter days. Les stresses that Daniel immediately tells the king that God has revealed prophetic events to him. Les also emphasizes that all true prophecy centers on the nation of Israel and usually operates within a time frame, as God gives details and places them in time. The church age, by contrast, has no such prophecy concerning it.
