What happened to the vessels and treasures of Solomon's temple?

The vessels and treasures of Solomon's temple were taken to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar carried them away along with the people who escaped the sword, and they served him and his sons until the kingdom of Persia, fulfilling Jeremiah's prophecy of seventy years.

Les explains that Solomon's temple was beautiful and gorgeous, containing tons of gold, silver, and precious stones, and all the utensils were made of gold. When Babylon conquered, they took those vessels and treasures to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar also carried away those who had escaped the sword to Babylon, where they served him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia. This fulfilled Jeremiah's prophecy that the land would enjoy her Sabbaths for seventy years, because Israel had not kept the sabbatical year as God had instructed.

2 Chronicles 36:18

And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon.
