How does God perform the spiritual circumcision made without hands?

God performs it by His own power, not by human hands, cutting off the old Adam at salvation. Through the circumcision of Christ, He puts off the body of the sins of the flesh, makes the old Adam superfluous and of no use, and brings the believer into the body of Christ.

Les explains from Colossians 2:11 that Paul writes to Gentiles about being circumcised with the circumcision made without hands. Since no hands are involved, God is the one performing it. It is the very power of God that performs this circumcision by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh through the circumcision of Christ. At salvation, what must be cut off is the old Adam; that is spiritual circumcision. Once the old Adam is cut off, he is superfluous and of no use, and the result is entering into the body of Christ. Les contrasts this with no longer feasting on manna but on the old corn of the land, and he references Hebrews 5 about moving from milk to meat.
