Whose praise does heart circumcision receive, God's or men's?

Heart circumcision, being of the heart in the Spirit rather than in the letter, receives praise not from men but from God. Scripture states its praise is not of men, but of God. So the praise belongs to God, not to men.

Les teaches that physical circumcision cuts off what is superfluous in the flesh, and its spiritual counterpart cuts off the old Adam at salvation. That work becomes a heart circumcision—of the heart in the Spirit, not in the letter, not merely keeping the Law. Its praise, therefore, is not of men but of God. He then notes Israel's many advantages, including the covenant promises, the Old Testament, the prophets, the Psalms, the temple, the priesthood, and the oracles of God, but the decisive point remains that this heart circumcision's praise comes from God.
