Les Feldick Bible Study

Why is Les asking viewers to write letters now?

Viewers are asked to write letters as the program approaches the end of its second year, continuing last year's month of letter writing. The purpose is not money; it is to hear whether viewers enjoy the program, where they are from, and how far the outreach is reaching.

Les explains that the program is approaching the end of its second year, and as was done last year near the end of the year, a month of letter writing is being emphasized. He assures viewers that the request is not for money and that they should not apologize if they cannot afford to give; instead, letters are simply to let the ministry know whether viewers are enjoying the program, where they are coming from, and how far the teaching is reaching. For the next three or four programs, he will announce that it is Letter Writing Month and wants to hear from everyone in the television audience. He also notes that the first twelve programs are available free in booklet form and that programs from Genesis 1 to the present are available on videotape by writing or calling.
