Why does Les say he doesn't care what the President or large denominations say about the Middle East?
Because God's Word declares the entire Middle East has been deeded to the nation of Israel, not political leaders or denominations. Scripture states the land was given to Abraham's seed from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates, a past-tense covenant transaction.
Les teaches that he disregards the President and large denominations because God's Word says the whole Middle East has been deeded to Israel. In Genesis 15:18, God had already transacted the title deed according to the rules of Hammurabi. The covenant says, "Unto thy seed have I given," past tense—it is done. The land runs from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates, and everything between the Mediterranean Sea and that river God deeded to Abraham. Les notes we do not know when Israel will occupy it, except it will be in the kingdom, and he thinks we are getting closer. He adds that most Jewish leaders do not claim this today, though Bagan, when prime minister, would tell the press it was deeded through Abraham.
