Les Feldick Bible Study

Why does Les not care what the United Nations or European community says about Israel's land?

The land belongs to Israel by God's own deed and promise, first given to Abraham and then to Joshua and the children of Israel. Since Scripture records God's grant from the wilderness and Lebanon to the Euphrates, the United Nations' or European community's opinions cannot alter that divine title.

Les explains that God deeded the land to Israel and said it first to Abraham, then later to Moses and Joshua. Genesis 15 and Joshua 1 describe the extent: from the wilderness and Lebanon to the great river Euphrates. Although Israel never occupied all of it, and today's land is strictly between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean, the deed remains God's Word. Therefore, Les says he does not care what the United Nations or the European community says.
