Was the scattering of Israel after Titus destroyed the temple an act of God?

Yes. After Titus, the Roman general, destroyed the temple, God permitted both the temple's total destruction and Israel's dispersion. This scattering is described as a sovereign act of God, whereby He dispersed the nation into every nation of the world until modern times.

Les explains that after the temple was destroyed by Titus, the Roman general, God did not merely allow the temple to be totally destroyed; He also permitted the nation of Israel to be dispersed again. Les calls this an act of God, a sovereign act by which He scattered them into every nation of the world, as they were seen up until our own time. He contrasts that past scattering with what is happening now: God is fulfilling His Word by bringing them back, and they will have the land for good, because the book says so.
