What does the Palestinian covenant say will happen to the land of Canaan?
The Palestinian covenant says the land of Canaan will go back to the Jew. God has mandated that one day the Jew will have her land back, and in our time He is fulfilling His Word by bringing them back. They will remain there for good, and no one will drive them into the sea.
Les explains that this Palestinian covenant is still part of the Abrahamic covenant, and it concerns the area of Palestine, the land of Canaan, which is still going to go back to the Jew. Regardless of what politicians may try to do or how they may try to pacify the other nations of the Middle East, God has mandated that one day the Jew is going to have her land back. After the destruction of the temple by Titus, the Roman general, God permitted the temple to be destroyed and the nation of Israel to be dispersed again. That was a sovereign act of God whereby He scattered them into every nation of the world. But in our own time, God is fulfilling His Word: He is bringing them back, and they are going to have it. No one is going to drive them into the sea. They are there for good because the book says they are, and the Lord says He will bring them back.
