What did God say would happen to Egypt after they afflicted Abraham's descendants?

God told Abram that his seed would be strangers in Egypt, serve and be afflicted four hundred years, but God would judge that nation, and afterward they would come out with great substance. This prophecy came true exactly as God said.

Les explains that this is the beginning of genuine prophecy, where God tells Abraham future events that will come true exactly as He says. God said Abraham's descendants would be strangers in a land not theirs—Egypt—and would serve and be afflicted four hundred years. But God promised, 'And also that nation, whom they shall serve, I will judge, and afterward they shall come out with great substance.' Les notes that this is exactly what happened. God also told Abram he would go to his fathers in peace and be buried in a good old age. In the fourth generation, his descendants would come back to Canaan. God delayed because the iniquity of the Amorites was not yet full, which relates to why Israel was later told to destroy the Canaanite peoples.

Genesis 15:14

And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
