What is Satan willing to do in order to keep his captives?
Satan will do anything to keep from losing one of his captives. Just as Pharaoh worked to prevent Israel from leaving Egypt, Satan in the spiritual realm does everything he can to hold onto every captive, not letting even one escape his grasp.
Les explains that Pharaoh did everything he could to make sure he did not lose the Israelites as captives, not letting them go to worship in the desert. In the spiritual realm, Les says, Satan is the one who will do everything he can to keep from losing his captives. Les stresses that Satan will do anything to keep from losing even one of his captives, and he wants that truth kept uppermost in mind. He then directs attention to 2 Corinthians chapter 5.
