What did Moses receive when he went up Mount Sinai?

When Moses ascended Mount Sinai, he received the Ten Commandments. He also received instructions for building the tabernacle. The tabernacle was eventually built around Mount Sinai, and the priesthood was established there as well. This occurred during Israel's encampment at the base of the mountain after leaving Egypt.

Les explains that God told Moses that when he brought the people of Israel out of Egypt, they would serve God upon this mountain. Les points out that they went down to Mount Sinai and camped around its base. As Moses went up into the mountain, he received the Ten Commandments. It was up in Mount Sinai that he received instructions for building the tabernacle. Around Mount Sinai the tabernacle was finally built and the priesthood was established. Les also notes Moses' earlier reluctance, feeling he could not speak to Pharaoh after 40 years as a shepherd.
