What happened to Moses right after he was weaned?

Once weaned, Moses left his mother's care and was taken into Pharaoh's palace, to Pharaoh's daughter, coming under Egypt's idolatrous influence. Though commonly weaned around five or six years old in that culture, he then began life in the royal court, separated from his Hebrew kinfolk.

Les explains that Moses remained in his mother's care only until he was weaned; then he went directly from his parents' home into Pharaoh's palace and came under Egypt's influence. There he was taught by idolatrous mythological priests and saturated with Egyptian doctrines and worship. Acts 7 records that Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, mighty in words and deeds, and was forty years old when it was full. Les points out that Middle Eastern mothers often did not wean until five or six years old, so Moses likely had about five years with his mother and father, where he received the word that later produced faith. After weaning, however, he was with Pharaoh's daughter and away from his kinfolk.
