How old was Joseph when he died?
Joseph died at the age of 110 years. Scripture records that he lived 110 years, saw Ephraim's children to the third generation, and later that he died being 110 years old, was embalmed, and placed in a coffin in Egypt.
Les teaches that Joseph dwelt in Egypt with his father's house and lived 110 years. He saw Ephraim's children to the third generation, and the children also of Masher, son of Manasseh, were brought up on Joseph's knees. Before he died, Joseph told his brethren that God would surely visit them and bring them out of Egypt to the land sworn to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He made the children of Israel swear to carry his bones back to Canaan. Joseph died at 110, was embalmed, and put in a coffin in Egypt. Les notes that Genesis, the book of beginnings, ends with a coffin, death, but God buries His servants, never His program; His program keeps moving on.
And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father’s house: and Joseph lived an hundred and ten years.
