Was Israel's victory in the 1967 Six-Day War a miracle of God?

Yes. Israel's 1967 victory was the miracle working of a sovereign God. Though invaded from four directions at once and outnumbered, Israel turned the tide in hours and destroyed those Arab armies. Scripture's covenant promises explain why Almighty God protects His covenant people, even while they remain in unbelief.

Les teaches that the Almighty God is watching out for that little nation. God loves the Arab just as much as the Jew, and Americans just as much as Middle Easterners, because this is the day of grace. Yet by His covenant promises, Israel is His covenant people, and He will bring all those Genesis promises to fruition. That is why outnumbered Israel is in the news and nobody dare attack them. Les notes Syria has been building up armed forces, and by practical standards Syria could overrun Israel, but Almighty God holds everything in check. In 1967, in the Six-Day War, Israel was invaded from four different directions at once, yet in a matter of hours they turned the tide and destroyed those Arab armies. Les calls that the miracle working of a sovereign God, even though Israel was in unbelief. He compares it to massive armies coming up from Mexico, landing on both coasts, and coming in from Canada. Jacob, likewise, went into a far country under God's protection and blessing while still an unbeliever, the supplanter and deceiver.
