Is the God of Israel a God who still performs real miracles?

Yes. The God of Israel is a God who is constantly performing the miraculous—not the miracles as people think of them today, but real miraculous events. Scripture points to Exodus 19:4, where God carried Israel on eagles' wings after drowning the Egyptians in the Red Sea.

Les teaches that the God of Israel is constantly performing the miraculous, but not the miraculous as people think of miracles today—rather, real miraculous events. He points to Exodus 19:4, where God says He drowned the Egyptians in the Red Sea and bore Israel on eagles' wings. Les notes they did not fly or sprout wings; they walked. He cannot explain exactly how, but he believes God moved that whole group speedily without their even realizing it, a miraculous move. He also thinks during the Tribulation the 144,000 will experience that same kind of travel, going from place to place with utmost speed without realizing it. He adds that something transpired to hasten their move out of Egypt.

Exodus 19:4

Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.
