Why does Les Feldick say he needs a live audience when he teaches?

Les explains that he especially appreciates the group in the studio because they put out a lot of effort to come in for the class. He says he has often stated that he just couldn't teach unless he had folk in front of him who are his friends and who he knows are praying for the ministry. That live, prayerful audience just makes all the difference in the world. He then welcomes the television viewers to the class and trusts they are learning along with them, but the in-person group remains essential to his teaching.
