What happens when the Antichrist signs the treaty with Israel?

When the Antichrist signs a seven-year treaty with Israel, God's time clock restarts after being stopped at the cross. At the midpoint, three and a half years in, he causes sacrifice and oblation to cease, bringing desolation to the temple and prompting flight to the mountains.

Les explains that the prince comes out of the revived Roman Empire, the European community. In verse 27, he makes a covenant or treaty with Israel—the many—for one week, seven years, which is the 70th week, from 483 to 490. When that treaty is signed by the Antichrist and Israel, God's seven-year time clock starts running again after being stopped at the cross for an indeterminate number of years. Then in the middle of the week, at three and a half years, he causes the sacrifice and oblation to cease. This is the desolation Jesus referenced in Matthew 24, when He said to flee to the mountains.
