How does Les define propitiation?

Propitiation is defined as everything pictured in the tabernacle—its materials, furniture, Ark, candlestick, altar of incense, table of showbread, cleansing labor, and brazen altar—all depicting Christ. It is the complete, overall work Christ accomplished by His death, burial, and resurrection, received through faith in His blood.

Les explains that propitiation is a big, long word that throws a curve at many people. His best definition is that everything pictured in the tabernacle—the materials used to build it, all the furniture, the Ark of the Covenant, the candlestick, the altar of incense, the table of showbread, the labor of cleansing, and the brazen altar—serves as a picture of Christ in His work of redemption. Therefore, propitiation is the complete, overall work that Christ accomplished by His death, burial, and resurrection. It is received through faith, through believing and trusting in His blood, to declare His righteousness, not ours, for the remission of sins passed through the forbearance of God.

Romans 3:25
