What did the original earth look like before Lucifer's fall?
The original earth was a beautiful planet created in verse 1, filled with the glitter of gemstones and all kinds of God's creation—trees, flowers, and grass. It was beautiful beyond description. An angelic host, not mankind, populated it, and Lucifer ruled over that angelic kingdom before his rebellion.
Les explains that this upstart angel was given dominion over an angelic kingdom that was on that earth created in verse 1. It was a beautiful earth filled with the glitter of gemstones, but also beautiful with all the things of God's creation—the trees, the flowers, the grass, and you name it. It was all there. It was beautiful beyond description. It was populated by an angelic host, not mankind but angels, and Lucifer was ruling over it. But Lucifer, Satan as we now know him, was never satisfied. He lusted to take the place of God himself and rebelled.
