What are the two particular trees in the Garden of Eden?

The two particular trees in the Garden of Eden are the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden and would enhance eternal life, while the other tree stood apart from it and concerned the knowledge of good and evil.

Les explains that there are two particular trees to note in the Garden of Eden. One is the tree of life, which was in the midst of the garden. Had Adam been able to partake of it, he would have lived forever; that tree would enhance eternal life. It disappears from the scriptural account after Adam sins and is not mentioned again until the last chapter of the last book of the Bible, Revelation, where it appears in the new heaven and new earth and will be therapeutic, enhancing eternity rather than being a healing as English renders it. The second tree is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, set apart from the tree of life and described as the most interesting one that we better learn the most about.

Genesis 2:9

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
