How is a person saved according to Romans 10:9-10?

Romans 10:9-10 declares salvation comes by confessing with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. Heart belief unto salvation and mouth confession of the Lord Jesus are the conditions; this is the Gospel.

Les teaches that Romans 10:9-10 presents the Gospel: a person must confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, and then he shall be saved. Les notes that with the heart man believeth unto salvation. This aligns with the Gospel Paul delivered—that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Les concludes, 'That's the Gospel.'
