Why is Les Feldick encouraged by people using his teaching for home Bible studies?
The teacher is encouraged because the church often lacks time for thorough Bible teaching; pastors may get only 20 minutes weekly. So more home Bible study is needed, and using his videotapes and books in homes enhances and edifies the church rather than replacing it.
Les is encouraged by many who use his teaching for home Bible studies because the church often does not have enough time for in-depth Bible teaching. He does not blame pastors; most congregations give the pastor only about 20 minutes, so the pastor cannot teach like this in 20 minutes once a week, even with a Wednesday night Bible study. Les says there must be more time spent in the home in Bible study, and he appreciates those using the videotapes and books in home Bible studies. This is not to take away from the church but to enhance and edify it.
