Will the Lord's coming happen on schedule even though we don't know the time?
Yes. The Lord's coming will occur exactly on God's predetermined schedule. Though we do not know the time, God does, and it will not be one hour late or an hour early. It will be right on schedule, according to His predetermined counsel.
Les explains that all of human history has unfolded according to God's predetermined counsel, just as Christ came at the exact right moment in time—nothing would have worked out right had He come a hundred years sooner or a hundred years later. In the same way, the Lord's coming is fixed in that plan. We don't know when it will be, but God does, and it will not be an hour late or an hour early; it will be right on schedule.
