What is the destiny of the Body of Christ while Israel is still being dealt with?
The Body of Christ is a unique group of believers, primarily Gentiles, with a heavenly position. While Israel remains a viable factor God still deals with, the Body has been lifted out. Its destiny is heavenly and culminates when it is raptured out.
Les explains that the earthly kingdom was promised to Israel, but they rejected it and funneled back into the mass of Gentile humanity, almost losing their identity. Yet God kept His finger on them, so the Jew is still a viable factor to be dealt with. In the meantime, the Body of Christ has been lifted out as a unique body or group of people, with a heavenly position. Les says its end is going to be when we're raptured out. This fits with Paul becoming the apostle of Gentiles, whose church letters are directed primarily to Gentiles in the Body of Christ.
