How many years after Pentecost was Galatians 1:11 written?

Galatians 1:11 was written some 28–29 years after Pentecost, according to the context. It is placed after Acts chapter 9, after Paul had been out among the Gentile world, and it introduces the Pauline message as not after man but by revelation of Jesus Christ.

Les explains that Galatians 1:11 follows the period after Acts chapter 9, when Paul had been out among the Gentile world. He says it is some 28–29 years after Pentecost, though he notes uncertainty about the subtraction. In the passage Paul says the gospel he preached was not after man, neither received of man nor taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Les connects this to Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus, when the Lord sent him far hence to the Gentiles rather than back to Jerusalem to check with Peter and the twelve. Instead, the Lord sent him down into Sinai and Arabia, where evidently for three years the Lord laid on him a whole revelation of things never hinted at in Scripture.

Galatians 1:11

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
