How many years after Pentecost was Paul's conversion?

Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus occurred approximately eight years after Pentecost. Scripture indicates he did not see Christ during the 40 days following the resurrection, but only later, after his Damascus road experience, which was about eight years after Pentecost.

Les explains in the transcript that Paul never saw Christ while He walked on the earth, and Paul did not see Jesus during the 40 days after His resurrection. Paul first saw the resurrected, ascended Lord face to face only after his conversion experience on the road to Damascus, which was about 8 years after Pentecost. Les connects this to I Corinthians 15:8, where Paul says the risen Christ was seen 'last of all' by him, and notes Paul's claim to have seen the ascended Lord. Les also mentions II Corinthians 12 but does not look it up.

1 Corinthians 15:8

And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
