Who are God's earthly people?
God's earthly people are the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Christ's earthly ministry was confined to Israel as His earthly people, except for two exceptions. The command in Matthew 10 directed the twelve not to go to Gentiles or Samaritans but rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Les explains that God's earthly people are Israel, the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He notes that Christ's earthly ministry was confined to His earthly people, Israel, with only two exceptions. In Matthew 10, Jesus commanded the twelve apostles not to go into the way of the Gentiles or any city of the Samaritans, but rather to go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The earthly promises and covenants—Abrahamic, Davidic, Mosaic, and Palestinian—pertained to Israel and the land of Palestine.
