What does it mean that God will gather together in one all things in Christ?

It means that in the dispensation of the fullness of time, when everything finally winds up, God will bring all things together in one in Christ—both things in heaven and things on earth—even in Him. This unifying purpose centers on Christ, in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells.

Les explains that this gathering happens in the dispensation of the fullness of time, when everything will finally wind up. It is the fruition of the whole program purposed in Himself. At that time, all things—both in heaven and on earth—will be gathered together in one in Christ, even in Him. Christ is the One in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells. The teaching also warns against being spoiled through philosophy, vain deceit, the tradition of men, and the rudiments of the world rather than after Christ.

Ephesians 1:10
