How do many people treat the apostle Paul?

Many treat Paul like an unlovely stepchild—a relative they do not want anything to do with, yet must admit is there. They spend most of their time in the Gospels and Old Testament and view his epistles as nearly waste paper. However, to Paul God revealed secrets long held in His mind.

Les Feldick explains that many people spend 90% of their time in the Gospels and the Old Testament, and they look at Paul’s epistles like almost a piece of waste paper. He recalls a fellow rancher saying, “They treat you like an unlovely stepchild.” Les believes that is exactly how they treat Paul—like an unlovely stepchild they really don’t want anything to do with, but they have to admit he’s there. He sees this happening all the time. Yet he insists this is where we have to be, because it was to this man that the secrets held in the mind of God were finally revealed, as he goes on to show from Ephesians 3:8-9.
