What did God do right after man sinned in the garden?
After man sinned, God did not leave him without hope. He immediately got busy and began preparing for the coming of a Redeemer. This Redeemer would provide redemption—buying sinners back—so that they could be justified freely by His grace through the blood of Christ, which was divine because God was the Father.
Les explains that even though Scripture declares all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, God did not stop there. Immediately after man's sin, God got busy preparing for the coming of a Redeemer. This Redeemer would provide redemption—the process of buying us back—so that sinners could be justified freely by His grace. The price of redemption had to be the blood of Christ, which is unique because it was divine; Joseph was not the father of Jesus, God was, and the blood circulatory system originates with the father.
