What are believers waiting for as the fruition of everything?
Believers are waiting for the fruition of everything: finally being in glory with the Crucified, Resurrected, and Ascended Lord. Scripture ties this hope to being caught up to meet Him in the air and so ever being with the Lord.
Les explains that First and Second Thessalonians take the Word up to glory and point believers to what they are all waiting for. First Thessalonians chapter 4 says believers shall be caught up to meet Him in the air and so shall ever be with the Lord. Second Thessalonians chapter 2 says that after the departure of the church, the wicked one will be revealed. Both letters lead to the fruition of everything, when believers will finally be in glory with their Crucified, Resurrected, and Ascended Lord.
