Les Feldick Bible Study

Do Jews and Gentiles enter the Body of Christ on the same level in the church age?

Yes. In the church age, God deals with the whole human race on one level. Every saved person, whether Jew or Gentile, enters the Body of Christ on the same level. The Jew has lost his identity in this age, and there is no difference; both are saved as sinners.

Les explains that once the prison epistles and deeper church truths are in view, the demarcation between Jew and Gentile is no longer the issue. God is now dealing with the whole human race on one level. Every person who is saved comes into the Body of Christ on the same level, whether Jew or Gentile. The Jew has lost his identity so far as the church age is concerned. God's purpose is now the bringing together of Jew and Gentile into one Body, and there is no difference. A Jew has to be saved today as a sinner, as a fallen son of Adam, just exactly like Gentiles. This Pauline teaching for the Age of Grace says there is no difference, though some Messianic Jews are turning away from it and trying to jump back into a former place of privilege that is not there. In the prison epistles of Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians, there is no dividing between Jew and Gentile and no reference to the Old Testament.
