What is the relationship between the Church Age and Old Testament prophecy or Israel?
The Church Age is the outcalling of the Body of Christ, a Pauline revelation that is parenthetical and has nothing to do with Old Testament prophecy or the nation of Israel. It must be taken out of the way before God resumes His dealing with Israel, bringing in the final seven years and the Antichrist's appearance.
Les teaches that shortly after Pentecost, when Israel would not believe Jesus was the Christ, God sent them back into the mainstream of humanity, not as evangelists but as a wandering nation in spiritual blindness and unbelief. God then began something totally different: the outcalling of the Body of Christ, called the Church Age. This is a Pauline revelation and prepares the world for the next event, the rapture or outcalling of the Church, His Body. Because it is Pauline, it has nothing to do with Old Testament prophecy or the nation of Israel. Therefore it must be taken out of the way before God can pick up again with Israel and bring out the final seven years, which Scripture divides into 3 1/2 and 3 1/2, and the appearance of the Antichrist.
