Where does agape love come from according to the fruit of the Spirit?

Agape love comes from the indwelling and outworking of the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit-produced love that results from God's presence within the believer, and it will affect lifestyle. By operating in this love, believers become fulfillers of the whole Law.

Les explains that agape love is that love which comes as a result of the indwelling and outworking of the Holy Spirit. When it seeks the other person's highest good, it does nothing but enhance the things that are good. This Spirit-produced love will have an effect on the believer's lifestyle, so that by operating love they become fulfillers of the whole Law. The same passage notes that joy also comes from within as a result of the Holy Spirit indwelling us, while happiness is circumstantial.
